For nearly twenty years, Kristian Matsson has circled the globe as The Tallest Man On Earth, building a singular space in contemporary folk through restless songwriting and a voice that always feels close at hand. Long heard through an American folk lens, Just Beyond Endless Mountain quietly flips that perspective. After returning to Dalarna in central Sweden, Matsson reconnected with the polskas, old field recordings and local traditions that had surrounded him since childhood.
