Some kind of Bluetooth Sensor
Description
Bluetooth Low Energy has become one of the most widely used wireless technologies in modern mobile applications. It powers wearables, fitness trackers, medical devices, smart home products, industrial sensors, asset tracking solutions, and countless Internet of Things devices.
In this course you’ll learn how Bluetooth Low Energy works by building real applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and Apple’s CoreBluetooth framework.
Rather than focusing only on API calls, the course begins with the underlying concepts that every Bluetooth developer should understand. You’ll learn how the Bluetooth protocol stack is organized, how devices discover one another, how GATT is structured, how data is exchanged, and how BLE communication differs from traditional networking.
Once the fundamentals are in place, you’ll build increasingly capable applications that implement both the Central and Peripheral roles. Along the way you’ll learn to read and write Characteristics, receive Notifications, decode advertisement data, work with connectionless communication, develop iBeacon-based solutions, transfer files using L2CAP channels, and troubleshoot common Bluetooth issues.
By the end of the course you’ll have a solid understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy and the confidence to build your own BLE-enabled applications for iOS.
Who this course is for
