My Memory of You is the debut jazz album by Danish vocalist and songwriter Britt Hein. Released on August 21, 2026, through Mingus Records, the project transitions Hein into the Nordic jazz scene after her more than 20 years of experience fronting the funk big band BLAST and performing with the vocal group Singers. Created in close collaboration with lyricist Lisa Freeman, the album explores deep, intimate themes of grief, love, hope, and nature. Musically, it offers a present, warm, and slow ballad feel across 9 tracks spanning roughly 40 minutes. The tracklist mixes brand-new compositions with interpretations of works by legendary Danish musicians like Jørgen Emborg, Niels Lan Doky, Carsten Dahl, and Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen.
