Build a production-style, AI-powered delivery application from the ground up using Flutter, AWS, and the OpenAI API.This course takes you beyond building a simple mobile UI. You’ll learn how to connect a Flutter application to a serverless AWS backend and then bring artificial intelligence into the experience to create a smarter, conversational way for customers to send packages.We’ll begin by building the foundation of our Flutter application and creating a traditional delivery flow. You’ll work with pickup and drop-off locations, location search, coordinates, delivery estimates, customer details, and order creation.On the backend, you’ll learn how to build serverless infrastructure using AWS. We’ll work with services such as Amazon Cognito for authentication, AWS Lambda for backend logic, Amazon API Gateway for our APIs, and Amazon DynamoDB for storing delivery orders. You’ll also see how Flutter communicates with these services through real HTTP requests.Then we’ll take the application further with one of the main highlights of the course: our AI Delivery Assistant.Instead of requiring customers to manually provide every delivery detail through forms, we’ll build a conversational delivery experience using the OpenAI API. A customer can simply say something like, “I want to send shoes from Main Gate to Ring Road.”The AI assistant will understand the request, extract useful delivery information, remember details collected throughout the conversation, and ask for information that is still missing.
