Investigate the making of “Walk Home” by Bon Iver. Songwriter and producer Jim-E Stack opens up about his work with Justin Vernon, breaking down how a lo-fi demo evolved into one of the most layered and emotional tracks on SABLE, fABLE.

Written and recorded in a garage in Wisconsin, ‘Walk Home’ began as a collage of chopped drum breaks, lo-fi synth recordings, and spontaneous vocal melodies. Learn how Bon Iver’s team generates song ideas using basic everyday tools, with a focus on capturing magical moments and room ambience.
